I am currently working on a series of paintings about life. I have had a surge of energy at midlife. I’ve had personal awakenings, new vibrant energy and an understanding of life that seems so simple and clear. The paintings started as a tribute series to my own personal super heroes and seems to be growing exponentially. I hope to connect on an emotional level with the viewers of the final piece. All of the paintings for this show are oil on canvas or oil/& collage on canvas populated by the real people in my life made divine & super heroic by me as I feel them.

In historic downtown Longmont with over 20 venues on Main Street between 3rd Avenue and 6th Avenue.
ArtWalk is:
A free evening of art exhibitions, music, live theatre, dance and children’s activities. The ArtWalk event transforms downtown Longmont businesses into galleries and promotes cultural arts for three fabulous evenings each year.

St Vrain School District Art Exhibit

For the first time Artwalk Longmont is proud to present a street exhibit from 5 St. Vrain Valley School District schools during our May event:

  • Silver Creek High School
  • Mead High School
  • Sunset Middle School
  • Eagle Crest Elementary School
  • Central Elementary School

They will all be showing off the talent of their students in a variety of mediums. Come and view the various works of art from these "budding artists". Look for the school house icon on Artwalk maps to see where all the tents are located!

Artful Dessert Contest May 18, 2012

Artful Dessert ContestDo you make a scrumptious dessert that deserves a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place ribbon? ArtLink Longmont is hosting the 9th Annual ArtFul Dessert Contest. Professionals, restaurants and amateurs of all ages are encouraged to participate. The contest will take place at The Great Frame Up, 430 Main.
